What is a Challenge Coin?

The Challenge Coin tradition is a long-standing military tradition of exchanging coins to symbolize achievement, membership, or affiliation.

In the Parkour Generations community, Challenge Coins can be earned through attending special events, achieving certain milestones, or accomplishing difficult challenges. Each Parkour Generations branch has their own unique challenge coin, with their own unique way of earning that coin. Once you possess a coin, you have the option to enter into a “game” that accompanies this coin, which is a system of issuing challenges to other coin-holders.

How do I earn a Challenge Coin?

Here at Parkour Generations Lehigh Valley, you must complete our three challenges in order to earn the Challenge Coin.

You must be witnessed by another Challenge-Coin-holder. You may join organized group training sessions, or contact a coin-holder from this list and see if they will join you to privately to approve your challenge. All challenges must be completed with the appropriate requirements met, including the time frames.

Once all three challenges have been signed off, you will receive your challenge coin.

To submit a completed challenge, please CLICK HERE and provide your information, the challenge completed, and information on the witness.

Strength Challenge

The Strength Challenge is located at the corner of Krick Lane and Sheffield Dr. Emmaus, PA. The challenge involves starting at the bottom of the hill and sprinting up the hill as fast as possible until you touch the stop sign. Then, you return to the bottom of the hill via QM. This must be completed 3 times within 2 hours to fulfill the Strength Challenge requirement.

Touch Challenge

The Touch Challenge is located at Lock Ridge Park, Alburtis, PA. The challenge involves balancing along the entire length of the black railing that goes along the edge of the park. The challenge has two options, the harder being that you may not touch the wooden posts between each rail section, the easier being that you may touch the post. You must choose and commit to a option. Then entire length of the rail must be balanced without falling within 2 hours of the start to fulfill the Touch Challenge requirement.

Spirit Challenge

The Spirit Challenge is located at the fountain feature at Kutztown University. The fountain must be on with running water, which is typically during warm months. The challenge involves performing a handstand traverse along length of the fountain, in both directions. The two lengths of the fountain must be traversed without coming out of the position within 1 hour of starting to complete the Spirit Challenge requirement.
